All Aspects of Divorce

We handle all aspects of divorce:

l Dissolution of marriage Including filing for legal separation or divorce, uncontested divorce, or annulment.  I walk all clients through the steps and advise on how long the process is likely to take under your particular circumstances.

l Property settlements
The more assets a couple possesses, the more complicated the equitable division.  I consider all real estate, business holdings, investments, and retirement funds.  I am experienced in valuing and dividing complex marital estates, and I know how to uncover assets the other spouse may be trying to hide.

l Child custody
This can be the most contentious aspect of divorce.  I fight for a solution to child custody and parenting time disputes that protects my client while addressing the best interests of the child.

l Financial support
A court may award spousal maintenance (alimony) when the earning capacity of the parties differ greatly and one party cannot meet their reasonable needs.  Judges have significant latitude in awarding maintenance.
Child support is typically ordered to the custodial parent and based strictly on state guidelines. My job is to investigate the other spouse's finances to ensure they aren't hiding assets and that they pay their fair share.

EXPERIENCED COLORADO DIVORCE ATTORNEY
Protect Your Rights And Get Your Fair Share

In its simplest form, divorce can be quick and painless - two people with few assets and no children agree to go their separate ways.  But if your divorce is not so simple, you will need an experienced lawyer to look out for your interests while attempting to achieve dissolution with the least amount of acrimony, time and expense.

I practice only family law and I will personally handle your case.  Clients receive experienced representation in the courtroom and in the conference room.  Contact an experienced Colorado divorce attorney who has fought and won divorce wars.  I won't waste your resources in needless litigation, but I won't let the other party take advantage of you either.

Limiting the Cost of Divorce Litigation

Whether the marital estate is substantial or limited, any divorce has the potential to become expensive.  One party may try to drive up the cost in order to punish the other party, or to force a lopsided settlement.  I move the process forward and protect your rights without costing you more money that you would have given up in a settlement.

I treat my clients with respect and compassion.  I do my best to fully understand the situation and to settle disputes with minimum pain and expense.  For an experienced Colorado divorce attorney, contact the Law Offices of Fred Andrew Dunsing for a free consultation.  I take all major credit cards and provide evening and weekend appointments.
